Neem Powder — the dried, ground leaves of Azadirachta indica — is the most commercially convenient form of this extraordinarily comprehensively documented medicinal tree. Indigenous to the Indian subcontinent and Myanmar and now cultivated across more than 30 tropical countries, Azadirachta indica is described in the Charaka Samhita as Nimba and in classical texts as a ‘village pharmacy’ for its versatile traditional pharmacological applications.
